
Katherine Lantigua, M.M., MT-BC, NICU-MT
Katherine is a board-certified, master's level music therapist specializing in neonatal intensive care unit music therapy from the National Institute for Infant and Child Medical Music Therapy. Her experience involves facilitating music therapy treatment within the early intervention, school, home, and medical settings with premature infants, children, and adolescents who have developmental disabilities, complex medical needs, mental health needs, or hearing loss. Katherine served as a graduate teaching assistant and earned her master's degree in music therapy from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. She completed her clinical internship at Broward Health Children's Hospital and holds her B.M. in music therapy from Florida State University. Katherine also serves the local crisis pregnancy center, presents regularly on music therapy, and contributes to the scholarly literature to further the field of music therapy.
