My name is Carol Garcia. I am born and raised in the beautiful country of Panama. I studied Sociology at the University of Panama. Moved to Florida in 1999 to attend a family business. Believing that all lives are sacred, and every life is precious, I joined the Archdiocese of Miami Respect Life Ministry and managed the North Dade Pregnancy Center from 2007 to 2012 where I had the opportunity to counsel multiple women of all ages during an unplanned or difficult pregnancy, and through the center supported them and help them to make choices they could live with. During my time with the Respect Life Ministry, I also counseled women suffering from Post Abortion Syndrome walking along with them toward forgiveness and healing. While working at the center, I studied Addiction Counseling which allowed me to understand even better the behavior of some of these suffering women -and men- that we served at the ministry. I did my practicum at an inpatient rehabilitation center for double diagnosis clients (suffering from HIV and drug addictions). Trying to be obedient to the Lord, I signed up for Training on Combating Human Trafficking which took me to my next journey with suffering souls. I was offered a job at His House Children’s Home as a Manager overseeing displaced children domestic (foster care) and international (unaccompanied minors crossing the US border). During my time as their manager, I was responsible for the wellness of the children, with their physical, mental, and emotional health. I established groups for teenage girls where they were though the importance of self-love, self-respect, and self-esteem, and their place in society as Daughters of the Most High.

I served as a member of my parish’s youth group for 6 years, assisting in putting together retreats, talks, and activities with the purpose of bringing them closer to God.

After a hiatus from a different career, I am excited to return to the field this time as an Integrative Wellness and Life Coach and combine my knowledge and vast experience in the matter of the heart, soul, and mind, while preparing to pursue my degree on Psychology. My heart and soul are into helping people finding their value as human beings, their place in society, and their heart within the heart of our Father. It would be a privilege to serve you.
